Harrington Horseracing
Harrington Raceway is a harness racing track located at the Delaware State Fairgrounds, one mile south of Harrington, Delaware on U.S. Route 13, 60 miles south of Wilmington.
Harrington Raceway typically holds live harness racing from April to June and from August to October.
Harrington Raceway has established itself as a top track on the national harness racing circuit.

Harrington Raceway History
1946
On August 15, Harrington Raceway opened.
1996
Video lottery machines were installed as allowed by Delaware’s new gaming legislation. The revenue from these machines enabled Harrington Raceway to increase the purse offered to winning horses.
2002-2003
The half-mile oval was reconstructed prior to the 2003 spring meet by trackmasters Dan and Greg Coon. The renovations resulted in wider turns and a faster racetrack.
